Paper Art Process

When I create a piece of art by repurposing paper I sketch my subject on my canvas. I then figure out my color palette and cut whole blocks of colors from magazines. I then cut my pieces of paper into the tiny shapes I need. I then glue them into place similar to painting. I will continue to do this until I’ve completed my subject. I may continue to do this with the background. I have also used this technique and mixed using paint pens, acrylic paints, and even gold leaf into the creation.
